High Quality Feed Grade Copper Sulphate Pentahydrate CuSO4.5H2O 98.5% Min Cu 25% Min
Feed Grade Copper Sulphate
In animal, Copper participates in protein synthesis as well as some enzymes and their activation. Copper , iron and cobalt are known as Hematopoietic elements. Copper deficiency results anemia, weaken limbs, ataxia and arrest of development. High content of copper(100-200 mg per kg feed) improve growth and lower feed consumption.
Poultry
If there is not excess amount of conflict micro-elements such as iron, zinc, cadmium and molybdenum with metabolism of copper, content of copper in feed at 4-5ppm is appropriate. For instance, daily diet with high content of iron and zinc affects absorption of copper in animal, more copper should be provided in diet. Moreover, feed with copper additive (copper sulphate in particular) cures enteritis and all kinds of mycosis in poultry animals.
Swine
Many researches from various countries indicate that, increase in copper additive in feed for piglet regulates Gastrointestinal activity, improves protein digestive ability. Appropriate concentration of copper ion activates pepsin, improves pepsin digestive function and eliminate soft stool, hence promotes healthy growth in swine. In addition, acidifer and antibiotic additives in feed affects copper utilization in swine positively, therefore these additives work collaboratively to promote healthy growth. Rise in contents of copper and phosphorus encourage the toxicity of copper to swine, however higher content of zinc and iron neutralize such toxicity, consequently prevent poisoning. Thus in summary, zinc and iron content must be varied accordingly for swine, when dieting high copper content feed.
Aquaticulture
Copper is very important to the healthy growth of american river catfish, carp and rainbow trout. Researches show that, content of copper in feed for carp and rainbow trout should be approximately 3ppm, whereas 1.5ppm for american river catfish.
